PEEKING VIEWS

Window photography enables me to shoot fascinating scenes and look at the world from an exciting and surprising angle...

Window photography is a different perspective on photography as a window stands between the photographer and the scene. The window element offers the opportunity to shoot magnificent architecture, design, outdoor and interior photography.

It is significant to find the correct exposure; there is a chance that harsh shadows, unexpected natural light such as direct sunlight, and a thick reflection on the window glass might suddenly appear and turn the photographic setting into quite an improvisation adventure. That is precisely when I, as a photographer, have the most fun, as it is the moment when I must use my eyes and all my creativity, originality, and patience to capture the window light that will make my window photography shine bright like a diamond and enable me to add it to my photo gallery on Noëmie Photography.

This picture was taken in Croix, France and features one of the rooms of an Art Deco villa. There is a window with a view on the trees of the garden, blue cupboards, a small round chandelier, a wooden floor and two open doors leading to other rooms.
This photo was taken in Amsterdam in a hotel whose designers love to play with light and mirror reflections.
This photo was taken in a hotel in Mitzpe Ramon, Israel, which was built in a way that it is completely overlooking the Ramon crater, leading to a magical experience. The hotel was build in a way to suit the crater and lead to a Swiss chalet designed hotel.
This photo was taken in a castle near to Antwerp, Belgium and the chair next to the window seems to wait for the next gossip like some Concierges do. The window offers a view on the surrounding park of the castle.
This photo was taken in Florence and features the view from a window on Florence. The view looks like a Renaissance painting and there is a red chair in front of the window which is not directed to the window view.
This photo was taken in Tel Aviv in the Liebling House and features the plants outside of the house peeking inside of the house like curious neighbors.
This photo was taken in a hotel in Zagreb and features a window and its curtain viewing on the street. The curtain is white and everything which surrounds it is black which makes it look like a ghost.
Balagan Disco was taken in Tel Aviv at a construction site and shows the Balagan of a staircase.
This photo was taken in Brussels from the window of a villa and showcases a typical view of Brussels' streets. Houses which stand neatly next to each other which here and there some beautiful shy trees.
This photo was taken in a hotel in Mitzpe Ramon, Israel, which was built in a way that it is completely overlooking the Ramon crater, leading to a magical experience. The hotel was build in a way to suit the crater and lead to a Swiss chalet designed hotel.
This photo was taken in Venice in a hotel which succeeds to create an amazingly private and personal atmosphere, thanks to its many discreet and beautiful corners. The view on the canals is breathtaking.
This photo was taken in a hotel in Venice and gives the impression to enter a painting of Venice's daily life. "Venice's Staircase in the Living Room" has a hidden side. Can you guess what? Take a closer look at the picture.
This photo was taken in Paris in a beautiful and small museum. The house was build in the 19th century and kept all the attributes of its period, as did its Neo-classic garden.
This photo was taken in Antwerp in the staircase of a big tower in Antwerp, Belgium. The stairs are in white marble, the walls in light blue and the floor was made out of black and white cubic marble tiles. This is a typical example of window photography as the whole scene stands in front of a window.
I love discovering exciting locations that discreetly and calmly show their beauty and glamor, as this White Island in Jerusalem. The photo was taken in East Jerusalem at the Rockefeller Museum and features a wall and a window in its middle composed of various different blue tiles.
