I always find it impressive when people with an amazing taste for architecture decide to turn their house into a museum and open it to the public. By doing so, they offer the opportunity to open people’s minds on the true meaning of design and its dream perspectives and horizons. This photograph which, in my opinion, looks more like a painting, opens our eyes on the beautiful simplicity of Art Deco. Less is more seems to be the quote of this picture. Indeed, all one needs to fill this room with grace and refinement is the mixture of daring colors, a clock, a small chandelier, blue cupboards, a wooden floor, two open doors, and a view on the garden to balance the whole.
