I tend to photograph elements which lead an almost human existence. This photo illustrates best what I mean as the lanterns remind me of some of my neighbors who used to stick their head out of their apartment door as soon as they heard a strange noise. The reason? They were unmistakably hunting for the latest building’s scoops and gossip.
