This photo was taken from a friend’s boat last September in The Netherlands and reminds me of our existences. When quickly looking at the photo people might find it peaceful and calming but when giving it a closer look, they might realize that many elements refer to a secret and dramatic stormy story. Look at the anxious cows’ eyes, position and ears, the broken tree trunk, the missing grass, the dry leaves, they all scream for attention, but will they get it? In a world which offers a million ways to attract people’s attention, how many really and thoroughly receive the love and care they deserve?
