I shot “Three Gossiping Aunties at the Border” on a cloudy evening, which would have kept most people indoors. Clouds have the opposite effect on me. They are an inseparable and critical part of my photography as they underline and reflect our life experiences. Their unexpected and surreal forms are an integral part of the composition I wish to create.
But there is more; I love personalizing elements that fill my shot, such as the scooters parked in front of the Bauhaus Douane. They remind me of the three gossiping aunties I used to bump into at the park. And, who do they remind you of?
