I love wandering around in nature as, contrary to what many people think and feel, a lot is going on when closely observing seemingly silent and unmoving scenes.
It is ambivalent as, on one side, everything lies in the details, but it is the complete picture that will often lead to the caption of my photographs.
Indeed, before I captioned this photo “The Chaperone”, the branches of the tree amongst the two small rowboats attracted my eyes, but after a close look at the tree, it seemed it was keeping an eye on the two shy boats’ behavior, as would a chaperone.
