Decorative lighting photography has always been a significant part of my photography as I am a big fan of light reflections. I love when photographs shine so bright that no additional light exposure, artificial lighting, or light source is needed to illuminate the image. It has a life of its own and does not need assistance to create its magnetism.
Enjoy the shadow and light games
I like the shadow and light games emerging in pictures – it is as if the scene is claiming an existence of its own. When shooting such a photograph, every ray of light or shadow seems to want to tell its story. Something it has never told anyone before. Its secret appears to bloom in front of its audience slowly in a shy and almost shameful way. This feeling may be confusing – on one side, the bulb, chandeliers, candles, and lanterns behave fearfully, but on the other side, they appear to be jumping around to get attention. And it is this balance I am constantly looking for.
The lighting of a lamp has much to reveal and adds to the surrounding interior design. Even soft light and low light will boost wall light and emphasize the essence of natural lighting. Indeed, the wall will become an integral part of the mixture of decorative light, dramatic effect, color temperature, and shadow. It will lead to the hanging decorative lighting photography artwork. Its brightness will give the impression of entering an enlightened dance floor surrounded by fairy lights, enjoying the moment.

I always search for a specific aspect that will turn a photograph into magic. A unique lighting effect will attract the eyes and make them want to know more about its story. A story I will gladly share while trying to push the viewers into their imagination and dream universe.
Don’t underestimate the power of light
But there is more. I noticed some people underestimate the power and beauty of a lamp, light bulb, or just led lighting as they are used as lighting and not as an ornament. And this is the element I search for to bolster my photographic creations. I love looking for lamps hidden in corners, hanging on ceilings, or just used in random and forgotten places with the following task: to shed light or add atmosphere to a design. These lamps are the true heroes of architectural designs and concepts.
How about photographers?
It is true what they say – photographers like to observe people and components, as it allows them to capture and reveal a different side of their surroundings. Indeed, this more vulnerable and unguarded aspect of today’s reality enables them to take a nonstaged and more authentic shot.
I love photographing elements that would otherwise never receive a voice. I must catch and capture them, as they emphasize the importance of light in my photo. Although some may think their contribution to the complete picture is barely perceptible, I know how much a small but significant presence will add to the breathtaking outcome.
