“The Slipping Beauty” – Tunnels are fascinating as they offer a different view of our surroundings and have multiple and various functionalities. They are long and sometimes never-ending corridors, relating one part of the story of a place to the other part.
The decorations in a tunnel can be original and unexpected, offer an interesting point of view on the space, and be the continuation or, on the contrary, the end of the location’s history.
Tunnels are also a shelter to the outside world and enable us to take a step back and look at the complete picture drawn in front of us. But mostly, they are the surprising and ingenious link between the past, present, and future; between what has been and what is yet to come.
