I shot “Nuit et Jour” in a hotel that overlooks a crater. The premises look like a continuation of this breathtaking and impressive geological process.
Everything around me pushed me to reconnect with the fundamental elements of this universe, such as water, fire, air, earth, and wood.
The hidden corner I photographed reminded me I was in the middle of the desert and that no matter how much technology tries to take over nature, it will always find a way to get around and emphasize its supremacy.
I strongly encourage you to visit deserts and immerse yourself in their beauty and infinite freedom. You will realize that they help put everything into proportion and make you understand that although life can be harsh and confusing, there is always a way out, a path to new beginnings.
