I read that people remember their memories in different colors than when they experienced them due to all the existing filters and visual effects. When I read this, I decided to try sticking to reality as much as possible and use fewer filters. I kept my promise, except for “Wes in the Middle”.
The scene reminded me of Wes Anderson’s fantasy world and I had no choice but to emphasize that sensation: the endless battle between a curved old factory and the surrounding modern design of industry, between the past, present, and future.
