I shot “Captain’s Watch” in Antwerp, Belgium, on a memorable and splendid winter evening in the middle of the Corona period.
I understood that, although times were rough, beauty was still around. It was just a matter of opening my eyes and deciding and wanting to see the never-ending magnificence of my surroundings.
This picture englobes everything I love – a mesmerizing architectural design by the talented Zaha Hadid posing in a refined way above two hangars, a breathtaking sky reminding a paintbrush, and the discreet lights enforcing this burning sky.
This momentum made me realize that true happiness and beauty can and will always be found in details and the little things in life.
